This policy is stricter than the Community Guidelines. Content can be entirely welcome on Korokoro and still not be eligible to earn advertising revenue, because advertisers choose the company their brands keep. Eligibility is assessed per post, continuously, and is re-checked whenever content, signals or this policy change.
Korokoro's monetization is built around a simple value exchange that keeps the platform free, the content valuable and the economics sustainable:
Get access to engaged audiences through capped, clearly-labelled advertising.
Receive a free social network — advertising is limited, disclosed and always under your control.
Are financially rewarded for producing valuable content, paid from a transparent revenue pool.
Korokoro earns its share for operating the infrastructure, and publishes the revenue waterfall below so every side can see where the money goes.
Advertising revenue flows through a configurable waterfall before anything reaches a creator. The percentages below are an architectural illustration only — the live rates are set by Korokoro's commercial strategy and published in the monetization terms attached to each program.
Invalid traffic, refunds and chargebacks are removed before the pool is calculated, and the pool is allocated across eligible creators by their valid activity — never by follower count alone.
Korokoro never guarantees a fixed amount per view, per follower or per post. There is no promised CPM and no minimum earning rate. What a creator earns in any period depends on:
Estimates shown anywhere in Creator Studio are projections of activity, not a commitment to pay a particular amount. Earnings are finalised only after validation and the applicable hold period.
Eligible for normal advertising and creator revenue. The content meets the Community Guidelines, the Monetization Policy and the quality bar for the surface it is distributed on.
Eligible for reduced or restricted advertising. Fewer advertisers are willing to appear alongside the content, so a smaller share of the creator revenue pool is allocated to it.
The content stays on Korokoro but generates no creator advertising revenue. Being permitted on the platform and being eligible to earn are two separate decisions.
The content violates platform rules and is taken down. Removed content never earns, and repeated removals end participation in monetization.
Each entry below sets the monetization outcome for that behaviour. Where an outcome is limited, the percentage shows roughly how much of normal revenue remains.
Automated checks make the first assessment. You can see the status of each of your posts, and the reasons behind it, in Creator Studio, and request a human review of any decision. Earnings generated by fraud, artificial engagement or content that breached this policy may be reversed after review.
